VITEGA (VILLAS TERRA GARDEN) is based in Agia Galini , a picturesque popular seaside village, built amphitheatrically on the slopes of the mountain, bordered by the southern Cretan Sea. Our village provides plenty of options for accommodation, dining and entertainment for visitors. At the same time, visitors can make daily excursions to enchanting destinations within a short distance. At a distance of 8 kilometers is the enchanting beach of Agios Georgios with a view of the islands of Paximadia and the island of Gavdos. Travelling west, at a distance of 23 kilometres, is the famous beach of Agios Pavlos with its unique dunes and immediately afterwards the visitor meets the beach of Triopetra with its clear blue waters. For more distant escapes , the monastery and the palm forest of Preveli , an area of rare natural beauty , is  located 46 km west of Agia Galini. To the east of the village , at a distance of 28 km , the visitor finds the famous village of Matala with its caves open to visitors and can enjoy the sea at the beach of Kommos . In a short distance the visitor has the opportunity to visit the archaeological site of Phaistos and admire the famous Minoan summer palace, one of the most well-preserved archaeological remains in Greece.
