The house, situated on the hill Plativola over the beach of Agia Galini Village in South Crete, stands in the middle of 8.300 m2 property which also includes 170 small olive trees and 67 vines.
A marvelous view to the sea extends from the house and the whole property. We can see the islands of Paximadia, the villages of Agia Galini and Matala and the surrounding hills of very old olive trees.
The architectural design of the house is inspired from the Cretan construction style of the post Minoan period. The house complex is formed by two different buildings: the main house “Spiti” and the secondary house “Paraspito”. The Paraspito is the guest house.
On the ground floor of the main building, there is a living and dining room adjoining a fully equipped kitchen. The floors and stairs on all levels are wooden, except for the kitchen and the bathrooms.
On the first floor there are four large bedrooms each with its own bathroom and WC. Each bedroom has its own large balcony with beautiful sea views.
From the balconies of the bedrooms we can descend to the courtyard via two external slate steps.
In front of the pool is the guest house. On the first floor there is a large bedroom, a bathroom with WC, a kitchenette, a dining room and a large balcony. On the ground floor there is the WC of the pool and a covered area, cool and shaded, used as a dining or resting area.
